What to expect at the first appointment:
Assessment is the first step in identifying your child's strengths, difficulties, areas of concern, and the underlying reasons for these. A range of standardised and less formal assessments will be provided, and we will gather some background information about your child. Please bring any previous therapy, school or medical reports with you to the first appointment.
A detailed report outlining our findings and recommendations will be provided after the initial assessment, and we will discuss with you how to best proceed from there.

We assist children to overcome a range of learning and behavioral difficulties. We assist children in the following areas-
Fine motor skills- handwriting, drawing skills, scissor skills,tying laces,poor grip strength, keyboarding skills, low muscle tone
Gross motor Skills- clumsiness, co ordination difficulties, running, jumping, catching or kicking balls, poor core strength, motor planning difficulties.
Social skills- difficulties with sharing, turn taking,forming and maintaining friendships, understanding emotions,
Play skills-(eg. learning to play with others, developing key play milestones needed to facilitate academic progress)
Attention and Concentration- maintaining and extending concentration, self/emotional regulation,, organisation, and time management skills, managing transitions or changes in daily routines
School skills- school readiness skills, early literacy skills-( reading writing and spelling)
Sensory processing difficulties- sensory modulation or regulation difficulties, over or
under responsive to sensory stimuli
Self care skills- issues with toileting, cutlery use, sleeping, dressing, teeth and hair care, managing transitions and daily routines
